Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 11, 2026
Family Protection Solutions (“FPS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a DBA of Override Tech LLC, operates this website at familyprotectionsolutions.com (the “Site”). We are not an insurance company or carrier; we help consumers connect with licensed insurance professionals. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use our Site or submit a quote request form.
1. Information We Collect
When you use our Site or submit our quote form, we collect:
- Identifiers — first and last name, email address, phone number, physical address (city, state, ZIP code)
- Demographic information — date of birth, gender
- Beneficiary information — first name and relationship of the person you intend to protect
- Health and lifestyle information — the answers you provide in our qualification quiz (e.g., general health overview, family situation, coverage history)
- Communications preferences — your affirmative consent (or withdrawal) for calls and text messages
- Technical information — IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, timestamps, and referral source, collected automatically via standard web analytics
Sensitive information and your consent. Some quiz questions relate to your health or coverage history. We treat these responses as sensitive information and collect and share them only with your consent, which you provide by submitting the quiz after reviewing our disclosures. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting support@familyprotectionsolutions.com; we will stop processing within 15 days.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Match you with licensed insurance professionals who can help you evaluate coverage options
- Contact you by phone, text message, or email about your quote request
- Respond to questions, support requests, or feedback
- Improve the Site, our quiz, and our customer experience
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, spam, or abuse
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms, or protect our rights
3. How We Share Your Information
We share your information only as necessary to deliver the service:
- Licensed insurance professionals and agencies — to prepare a quote and discuss coverage options with you. Our partners are bound by their own privacy and compliance obligations.
- Experior Financial Group — our Field Marketing Organization (FMO) partner, through whom carrier relationships are maintained.
- Service providers — vendors who help us operate the Site (hosting, database, analytics, call and SMS infrastructure). They may only use your information to perform services for us.
- Legal and safety — when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
We never sell your personal information to data brokers or unrelated third-party marketers. When you request coverage options through our quiz, we share your information — including your contact details and quiz responses — with the licensed insurance professionals and partner agencies who fulfill your request. Because we receive compensation in connection with connecting you to those professionals, this sharing may be treated as a “sale” or “targeted advertising” under some state privacy laws; you can opt out at any time as described in Your Privacy Choices below.
4. Calls, Text Messages, and TCPA Consent
By submitting our quote form and checking the call and text message consent boxes, you expressly consent to receive calls from FPS and its licensed insurance partners (including calls using automated telephone dialing systems and pre-recorded or artificial voice messages), and text messages from FPS, at the phone number you provided, for the purpose of discussing insurance options. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message. To opt out of calls, let the representative know during the call or contact us using the information below.
Calls may be recorded and transcribed for quality, training, and compliance purposes, and may be conducted or assisted by automated and virtual assistant technology, including prerecorded- or artificial-voice systems. Recordings and transcripts are processed by service providers such as our telephony carrier and speech-to-text and cloud-hosting vendors.
5. SMS / Text Messaging
This section applies specifically to mobile information collected in connection with our SMS text messaging program. See our SMS Terms & Conditions for the full program terms.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors that support our services — such as our telephony and customer-service providers — is permitted solely to deliver those services.
Text-message opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text-message service.
When you ask us to connect you with a licensed insurance agent, we share your contact details with that agent to fulfill your request; this is service delivery you requested, not third-party marketing.
6. Cookies, Analytics, and Session Tools
We use essential cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site. We may also use standard analytics tools to understand aggregate traffic and improve the experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our site. Clarity captures interactions such as mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and page navigation (session replay and heatmaps); we configure it to mask the text you type, including quiz answers. We use Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure and improve our advertising. We also use Cloudflare (security and bot protection), Supabase (secure data storage), and Telnyx (calls and text messaging). These providers process data on our behalf to deliver our services.
7. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of the sale of your personal information, targeted advertising, and profiling. Residents of California, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, New Jersey, Texas, and other states may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@familyprotectionsolutions.com or call +1 (973) 400-5146. We will verify your request and respond within 45 days, with one additional 45-day extension where permitted by law.
Appeals. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision through the same email or phone channel. If your appeal is denied, New Jersey residents may contact the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs, and Texas residents may contact the Texas Attorney General.
Your Privacy Choices
You can opt out of the sale of your personal information and of targeted advertising at any time. Visit Your Privacy Choices to turn off analytics and advertising cookies on your device, or use the email and phone contacts above to submit a rights request.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we honor it as an opt-out of the sale of your personal data and targeted advertising where state law provides that right.
8. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Consent records and call logs are retained per applicable TCPA record-keeping requirements. The schedule below reflects our current retention practice:
| Data type | Retention period (current practice) |
|---|---|
| Lead & contact records | 5 years after last activity |
| Consent records (TCPA/SMS) | 5 years minimum |
| Quiz responses | 5 years with lead record |
| Call recordings / transcripts | 2 years |
| Analytics / session data | Per Microsoft Clarity and Meta retention policies |
| Server logs | 90 days |
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee that unauthorized parties will never defeat those safeguards.
10. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
